Yakushi-ji

The temple where Yakushiji exists in Nishinokyocho, Nara-shi, Nara. Headquarters of Hosso sect of Buddhism as well as Kofuku-ji.

The Emperor Tenmu completed it in Fujiwara-kyo and moved to a present location as well as Heijo transfer. The grand hall which is the biggest hall at a precinct was reconstructed in 2003. Dissolution in an East Tower is being repaired until November, 2010-2018, and it isn’t possible to see.

It’s registered by the world’s cultural and natural heritage as the part of the cultural asset in ancient city Nara more than UNESCO in 1998.
