Tsurumine-Park

Tsurumine park is the park in Okaya-shi, Nagano. The part of the Enrei Oujo prefectural natural park. The stretch where I come to 10,000 square meters in 1935 was donated to Kawagishi-mura, and it was to plant 300 stocks of azalea in the park.

30,000 stocks of azalea is planted in the whole mountain body at present, and it’s famous as a landmark of an azalea. An azalea festival is held from the beginning of May to the last ten days every year, and I bustle with a lot of tourists.
