The-weeping-cherry-Miharu-Takizakura

Miharu Takizakura is located in Takisakurakubo Miharu-machi, Tamura-gun, Fukushima. A big tree of Benishidarezakura beyond age of the tree presumption for 1000 years.

The tree height is 13.5m and tree spread reaches 25m in east and west, 20m in north and south. Because it blooms like the waterfall where a pale-pink flower drops from the limb expanded into the square and is felt, there is this name. Designation of a national natural monument is received in 1922, and it’s one of a Japanese three big cherry tree.
