Takato-yama-Park

Takato-yama Park is the park in the mountain top in Takato in Wakamatsu-ku, Kitakyushu-shi- yama. It’s said that there was a castle Obaokinokami Kagetane built in the Middle Ages.

The stretch where a park is circled is also famous as a colony of a hydrangea. A hydrangea as much as 36,000 stocks will be best time at the middle of June. It’s “Wakamatsu hydrangea festival” every year on 2nd Sunday and 3rd Sunday of June.

Altitude 124m also has an observatory, and the night view is also beautiful.
