Shukkei-en is the garden in Kaminoboricho, Naka-ku, Hiroshima-shi, Hiroshima. It’s designated in a national scenic spot and it’s also chosen as 100 elections of Japanese historic park.
Landscape was set by Ueda Soko of the Asano feudal clan seneschal who knows by a master of ceremonial tea to 1620 as a villa of Asano seigneur. An island of big and small floats on dug “Takueichi” in the center of the garden. Because it’s possible to enjoy the ravine arranged cleverly and a bridge while migrating, it’s also called tour garden. It became wasted by an atomic bomb drop to Hiroshima-shi in 1945, but it was reconstructed by 1970 ‘s.
