Shinsakai_river

Shinsakaigawa River is the branch of Kiso-River basin system an offshoot steals from Sakaigawa in Kakamigahara-shi, Gifu.

A spilway in Sakaigawa where Kakamigahara-shi is run through in 1930 has been completed. In the case, a cherry tree tree was planted. The one a kabuki actor and Hyakujurou Ichikawa from the localness contributed. There are about 1200 cherry trees in both banks in Shinsakaigawa. You’re enjoying by the name as “Hyakujurou cherry tree”.

A cherry tree festival in Kakamigahara-shi is also performed in April every year. Night is lit up.
