Shimoda park is the park in Shizuoka-shi Shimoda-shi. It’s in the slightly elevated hill where you can get a bird’s-eye view of Shimoda-shi district and Shimoda harbor. Because there was Ushima Shiro of Mr. Kitajo, I also say “Shiroyama park”.
About 100 kinds of hydrangea of 3,000,000 circles of 150,000 in total stock can also see. A hydrangea festival is held on June 30 from June 1 every year.
A cherry tree, plum, an azalea, Huji and Tsubaki also engage including a hydrangea.
There are a founding monument and a monument which has come to Shimoda when Carter former President of the United States of America visited Japan. It’s suitable for the walk, the hike and the cycling which are while seeing a flower.
