Sandan-kyo

Sandan-kyo is a canyon of about 16 km of length of the Ota-gawa upper reaches in Yamagata-gun, Aki Ota-machi, Hiroshima. National special scenic spot.

In a wildwood, there are Kurobuchi, Sarutobi, Nidantaki, Sandantaki and Mitsutaki along an esplanade. It’s called five big view in Sandan-kyo. In particular, fresh green in spring and beauty of the autumnal tints of the autumn can be called the artwork great outdoors produce.

Sandan-kyo spring festival is held on April 29 and a festival of colored leaves is held at the end of October every year.
