Yanagawa

Yanagawa-shi is in the southern part Fukuoka. It’s about 45 minutes by Nishi-Nippon Railroad train from Fukuoka and Tenjin. Because a fosse flows through the city freely, it’s called a capital of water.

The Yanagawa river rafting has been started in 1961. I get on a specialty “Donko ship” and go around a waterway slowly. Of a boatman of the happi form, if singing, I advance while asking the explanation. It’s possible to see a flower in four seasons and a historical building along a trench. The required time is 70 minutes.
