Ouchi-juku

Ouchi-juku is the old posting station in Ouchi Shimogo-machi, Minamiaizu-gun, Fukushima. It was selected as important preservation district of historic buildings in April, 1981.

Aizu where Nikko-shi Imaichi is formed with Aizu-wakamatsu, post-town which prospers along Nishikaido. About 500 m of old private house on the thatched roof which is about 40 along the way which continues lines up. It’s the eating place and the gift shop to which local food is offered. “Takatoo Soba” which eats soba using leek instead of chopsticks is famous.
