Nojimasaki-Lighthouse

Nojimasaki lighthouse is left for Southernmost Point Nojimasaki in Chiba-ken Boso-hanto. It’s an old Western-style lighthouse in the 2nd in Japan at a large lighthouse where I have a chalky octagon.

It was built by Veruni of french engineer in 1869. After Great Kanto Earthquake, it was restored in 1925. Height 29m and light reach to about 32 km destination. A grand Pacific panorama can be seen.

It’s chosen as “50 elections of Japanese lighthouse” and also registered with national registration tangible cultural properties. A lighthouse material exhibition hall “Kirarin-kan” is also juxtaposed.
