Maruyama Park is the park in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto-shi, Kyoto. It’s designated in a national scenic spot.
The park oldest in Kyoto-shi of establishment in 1886. The lot area is about 8600 square meters. A promenade going around a pond is maintained in the park spread in gentle hills. A weeping cherry is learned about as a famous place of a cherry tree and is also famous as “cherry blossoms by night in Gion” at the inside. Many people visit the weeping cherry lit up in flower viewing.
