Mamemochi puts in black soybeans and soybeans, and is included rice cake. It’s similar and there is Mamedaifuku. Mamemochi is made with glutinous rice, but Mamedaifuku is made with rice flour for dumplings and rice cake powder.
Mamemochi was the specialty which represents Kyoto. You say that it was made for the first time in 1899.
