Lake Kinrin

Lake Kinrin is the pond in Yufuin Onsen in the Oita-ken Yuu city. The area, 0.8 hectares, about 400 meters of environment and the water depth are about 2 meters.

Because there were former days in the base in Yufudake, it was called “pond in Takemoto”. You’re telling that a mulberry saw a scale of fish being lit up by the sunset and glittering and called “gold scale lake” from Mori Kuso of a Confucian scholar in 1884.

It’s said that a hot spring is springing from a bottom of lake. Fog can see the fantastic view which rises from the surface of the lake cold time. Tourist attraction which becomes a symbol in Yufuin.
