Kobe Luminarie

Kobe Luminarie is the festival performed in December every year from 1995 in an old reservation in Kobe-shi. A dream to rehabilitation and a wish are included in 1995 when Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake has happened, and they’re the illuminations which have started.

A street and a square are decorated with illuminations which consist of a peculiar geometric pattern. Italian Valerio Festi and a common work in Imaoka Hirokazu of Kobe-shi residence. An old reservation and the east amusement park, I bustle with many visitors in a main stadium.
