Himuro Jinja

Himuro-jinja is the shrine in Nara-shi, Nara. It’s done with a first that a god of ice was deified in Himuro (stockroom of ice) made Nara era and Kasugaokuyama.

A weeping cherry tree of Himuro-jinja is also called a cherry tree most at Nara, and it’s early and famous. A tourist hardly usually visits, too, but the whole precinct will be pink at the end of March at time, and I bustle with many flower viewing visitors.

Address: Kasuganocho 1-4, Nara-shi, Nara (GoogleMap)
