Heian-jingu is the shrine in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto-shi, Kyoto. I commemorated capital relocation to Heian for 1100 years in 1895 and was established.
A main hall of the shrine reduced Chodo-in which is a formal palace in the Heian castle town to 5/about 8, and was restored. Loamy soil in a precinct is conspicuous in a vermilion-lacquered main hall of the shrine, and I have the elegant atmosphere in the Heian castle town. It’s the tour garden in which I equal about 30,000 square meters which spread so that a main shrine may be surrounded. The beautiful scenery spreads in each season such as a red weeping cherry in spring and a floral calamus in early summer.
