Hase-dera is a temple of the Jodo sect system in Kamakura-shi, Kanagawa. The historic old temple where even foundation and transmitted Kamakura are eminent in 736.
Juichi-kannon (hase-kannon) of height 9.18m is a wooden Kannon of the Japanese maximum level. A temple bell is designated as a national important cultural asset. A hill with a view is ahead of the main hall where Juichi-kannon is here, and the scenery which looks Sagami-wan and Miura-hanto around spreads from a hill.
A hill makes sure that the flower of a hydrangea will cover a slope in the rainy season, and a hydrangea blooms. It’s learned about as Hanadera where a flower in each season
