Hamamatsu-shi, Shizuoka is famous as a town of Gyoza (Chinese meat dumplings) as well as Utsunomiya of Tochigi-ken. There are about 80 speciality stores of Gyoza and when the restaurant where Gyoza are served as the menu is included, there are more than 300 houses. It’s the characteristic that the sweets which used cabbage much add a boiled sprout lightly by the light salty taste by the characteristic.
Ishimatsu Gyoza Honten is said to be an originator in Hamamatsu-shi. When lining up and baking Gyoza roundly using a frying pan for domestic use, it’s a first that a boiled sprout was added to built central space.
There are foundation and history in 1953. Even a television is often introduced. The set menu of Gyoza is 840 yen and 10 of Gyoza and rice make one set.
