Gujo Odori

Gujo Odori is the traditional Bon-Odori held in Gujo-shi, Gifu Hachiman-cho. It’s said to be the Japanese three big Bon-Odori and a Japanese three big folk song.

Gujo Odori is a dance with history in about 420. It’s the feature to hold it about 30 nights from the middle of July to 2 months at the beginning of September. “Tetsuya-Odori” which rises most is 4 days on August 13-the 16th. A dance visitor for 4 days will be about 250,000 people, too. 10 kinds of all dance is designated as Japanese important intangible folk cultural properties.
