Goryokaku tower is an observation tower which neighbors Goryokaku in Hakodate-shi, Hokkaido. It opened on April 1, 2006. It’s a land mark in Hakodate.
A tower of height 107m. In the asteroid castle which is the feature of Goryokaku from an observatory, you can look down upon the whole view mostly.
Toshizo Hijikata’s bronze statue of a killed in a battle Shinsengumi troop vice president is also decorated with the battle of Hakodate. 1F has a stand and 2F also has a Japanese-food restaurant and a cafe.

A large carp streamer is installed from the middle of April when Children’s Day was cut down imminently in Goryokaku Tower. The annual charming sights which continues for more than 30 years. It seems comfortable and about 12 meters of carp is swimming the sky on about 70 m of ground.
