Ginkaku-ji is the temple in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto-shi, Kyoto. An official name is Jisho-ji.
It’s Ginkaku that Ashikaga Yoshimasa of 8 brigadier Muromachi shogunate government army copied and built Kinkaku-ji. The whole temple including Kannon is learned about as Ginkaku-ji. Ginkaku is called “Sankaku in Kyoto” according to Kinkaku and Hiunkaku (Nishi-hongan-ji precinct). It was registered with world-class cultural property based on “World Heritage Convention” as December, 1994 “cultural asset in ancient city Kyoto”.
