Byodo-in is the temple to which I have a relation for Mr. Fujiwara in Uji-shi, Kyoto. The 11th century construction, Buddhist image, painting and garden existed and were registered by the world’s cultural and natural heritage as “cultural asset in ancient capital Kyoto” in 1994.
“Hoo-do” is built as Amidado, and Amidanyorai-zazo stands up at Yokuro of enshrined Nakado and left and right and Biro in the back. Hoo is decorated by a big roof, the interior, kenran, it’s decorated with treasure look flower design and an all colored door painting. A garden with a pond is in front of “Hoo-do”, but it’s said that they had an influence on temple building throughout the country.
