Bitchu-Matsuyama-Castle

Bitchu Matsuyama-jo is the Japanese castle which was in Uchisange, Takahashi-shi, Okayama. Another name and Takahashi castle. It’s chosen as Japan 100 Meijo at a national historical site. It’s generally called “Bitchu Matsuyama-jo” to avoid confusion with Matsuyama-jo which was in Matsuyama-shi, Ehime in Shikoku.

First, the one built in 1240 was repaired by Mizutani Katsumune with 3 years in 1683 and was the form of Tenshu now. Mt. Gagyusan of 430 meters of altitude, it’s at the most expensive place as Yamashiro with existence Tenshu in a mountain top.
